Just an old man and his dogs. I've been part of the Yorkie Protection Program since 1961 and was even swaddled in an old Yorkie puppy blanket as a child. I teethed on Yorkie Kibble, received dog toys every Christmas and birthday, and truly thought I was from Yorkshire England!

I was raised on a corn/soybean farm in Illinois where Yorkies were an intricate part of farm life. My grandfather was a great influence on me in breeding Yorkies; he was the man who everyone came to rid their farms, barns, and silos of vermin. I bought my first Yorkie from him at 8 years old and received .50 cents per rat on every job he took me on.

Each puppy is bred, raised, and loved indoors to ensure health, happiness, and harmony at the start of its life. We concentrate on matching our pups with the right families. We like to tell our clients that they didn't pick our pup, but that we picked them. It has been such a fulfilling journey!
